Victor Osimhen will mark his return to action in Galatasaray with the Super Lig fixture against Gençlerbirliği.
The Nigerian striker had been sidelined after suffering a serious right forearm fracture during the UEFA Champions League encounter against Liverpool on March 18.
Osimhen underwent surgery on March 23 in Istanbul at Maslak Acıbadem Hospital. The procedure was carried out by Galatasaray’s club doctor, Yener İnce.
Initially, he was expected to be out for six weeks, but his recovery progressed faster than anticipated, allowing him to return to full training ahead of schedule.

Expectedly, the forward travelled with Gala’s squad to Ankara for Saturday’s game, but was spotted wearing a custom made carbon arm guard designed to protect his injury.
His return is a significant boost for Galatasaray, especially considering their recent form without him.
Galatasaray managed just one win in their last three matches during his absence, a stat which highlights his importance to the squad.

However, head coach Okan Buruk is expected to ease him back into action by giving him limited minutes as he regains match fitness.
The coaching staff’s primary objective is to have Osimhen fully ready to start in the upcoming derby against Fenerbahce scheduled for Sunday, April 26.
His availability for that crucial fixture could prove decisive as Galatasaray prepare for one of their most important matches of the season as the campaign approaches its end.
