CAF Champions League campaigners Plateau United have intensified preparations for their first round match against Simba SC.
Plateau United were involved in an exhibition match with Nasarawa United on Monday ahead of the meeting with the Tanzanian giants.
The match ended 2 – 1 in the favor of the Solid Miners with Sunday Anthony scoring the first goal or Abdul Maikaba’s team, before Nasarawa United responded with goals from Adamu Hassan and Abdullahi Abubakar to win the .
The Peace Boys also took part in a pre-season tournament, where they lost to Nigeria’s second representatives in the competition, Enyimba, in the final
Plateau United will play host to Simba SC at the New Jos stadium, this weekend.
Simba SC are coming into the game on the back of a 7 – 0 win over Coastal Union in the Tanzania Premier League.
