According to reporting from Ian Doyle of the Liverpool ECHO, Liverpool FC are looking for a potential loan move for striker Jayden Danns. It is understood that the club prefer a top-level move for the striker but may need to be realistic and also consider offers from the Championship.
This is due to the fitness issues Danns has dealt with the last two seasons, and has been unable to feature for large stretches of time.
There could be a reluctance for clubs to pursue a deal, though reporting from Jack Lusby of This Is Anfield understands there had been interest in the 20-year-old from sides in Italy.
Danns had aggravated a prior hamstring injury during preseason training at the AXA Training Centre, and was unable to participate in the first-team squad training sessions and was subsequently left out of the tour of the United States.
He is preparing to step up his recovery with an eye on rejoining training later this month. It will be an important period for a player who broke out two season ago, but hasn’t since struggled to get on the pitch at all.
