Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru is facing an uncertain situation at Gençlerbirliği following reports of poor form and disciplinary concerns.
Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu revealed that the player missed one of the club’s training sessions this week.
Gençlerbirliği technical staff submitted a report highlighting what they described as inadequate and unmotivated performances.

The club is expected to release an official statement on the matter in the coming days.
Head coach Volkan Demirel recently expressed his dissatisfaction with Onyekuru’s contributions this season.

Demirel stated that the player still has one year remaining on his contract but must improve significantly to meet expectations.
“We are not satisfied with Onyekuru’s performance. He has one more year on his contract. If he reaches the performance level we want, I will carry him on my back. All the initiative is mine,” Demirel said.
