Ghanaian MNT star, Mohammed Kudus is set to undergo surgery following a relapse of his hamstring injury, dealing a significant blow to both Tottenham and the Black Stars.
Kudus has been sidelined since January after sustaining the initial injury setback.
His last appearance came on January 4 in a fixture against Sunderland.
Encouragingly, the midfielder had resumed individual training earlier this week and was reportedly nearing a return to action.

However, fresh medical scans conducted on Wednesday confirmed a relapse of the injury.
Sources indicate that the severity of the setback may now require surgical intervention, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
This development is a major setback for Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently battling to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Kudus was expected to play a crucial role in the club’s survival push, particularly after new manager Roberto De Zerbi personally emphasized his importance shortly after taking charge.
De Zerbi now faces the difficult task of navigating the remainder of the campaign without one of his key attacking options.
Beyond club football, the injury also casts serious doubt over Kudus’ availability for Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars heavily rely on his creativity and attacking output, alongside experienced forward Jordan Ayew.
His absence would represent a significant blow to Ghana’s ambitions on the global stage.
Kudus joined Tottenham Hotspur on July 10, 2025, in a £55 million move from West Ham United.
Since his arrival, he has contributed 3 goals and 5 assists across all competitions.
