Three-time CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, Chiamaka Nnadozie recorded her second consecutive clean sheet as Brighton & Hove Albion Women secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Leicester City Women in their Women’s Super League clash on Sunday.

The Nigerian international, who was also in inspired form during last weekend’s goalless draw against Liverpool, continues to prove why she is regarded as one of the league’s top shot-stoppers.

Seike Strike Separates Both Sides

After a dominant but goalless first half from Brighton, the breakthrough finally arrived just three minutes into the second period.

Japanese forward Kiko Seike tapped into an empty net in the 48th minute after a well-worked move involving Rosa Kafaji, who provided the decisive pass.

The goal proved enough to hand the Seagulls all three points at the King Power Stadium.

 Calm, Composed, and Unbeaten Nnadozie

While Brighton controlled much of the contest, Nnadozie remained alert when called upon.

In the 14th minute, she showed excellent awareness by rushing off her line to gather a loose ball, denying Shannon O’Brien a clear opportunity.

Late in the game, the former Paris FC Féminines goalkeeper displayed her authority once more, confidently intercepting a dangerous corner delivered by Sam Tierney.

Leicester struggled to create meaningful chances throughout, failing to register a single shot on target as Brighton comfortably protected their slender lead.

Only Hannah Hampton of Chelsea Women has managed more so far, with seven.

With back-to-back clean sheets and growing confidence, the Super Falcons No.1 is firmly in the hunt for the Golden Glove and rapidly building her status as one of the standout goalkeepers in England.
