Nigeria’s Super Falcons can now look forward to receiving their World Cup bonuses, as FIFA has confirmed the distribution of prize money to all football federations.

Despite being eliminated at the round of 16 stage, each Super Falcons player is set to receive $60,000.

Concerns had arisen regarding the Nigeria Football Federation’s payment, but FIFA has reassured that the players will receive their earnings.

The nine-time African champions were ousted in the Round of 16 by England’s Three Lionesses in Australia.

In a thrilling match, they held the European champions to a 0-0 draw over 120 minutes of play, with England ultimately prevailing 4-2 in the penalty shootout.
