Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro on Monday named a 25-man squad for his team’s upcoming international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in Portugal on Friday, October 13 and Monday 16 respectively.
Prominent on the list is midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
The 22-year-old graduated from Manchester City academy and is the brother of former Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru.
His elder brother, Tom was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup hosted by Poland.
The player moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2020, featuring in over 80 games for the Sky Bet Championship club.
The talented midfielder joined Turkish Super Lig club Hatayaspor in July.
He has scored four goals and registered two assists in seven appearances for Hatayaspor this season.
