NWSL club Washington Spirit have announced that the season is over for Super Falcons combative midfield star Deborah Abiodun due to injury.
They said Abiodun will undergo surgery.
Washington Spirit moved Abiodun from the 45-day injury list (D45) to the season-ending injury list.
Abiodun featured in nine games for Spirit, four as a starter and played a total of 320 minutes before her injury.
