Former Super Eagles Head Coach, Gernot Rohr has revealed why Bayern Munich and France star, Michael Olise, rejected the opportunity to represent Nigeria.
Olise has become one of the superstars in world football, winning multiple titles with Bayern Munich and earning rave reviews for his performances on the biggest stages.

During his time as Super Eagles head coach, Rohr scouted Olise between 2019 and 2020, despite still being an emerging talent at English Championship side, Reading FC.
According to Rohr, the youngster turned down the approach made by him and his then assistant, Tunde Adelakun, because he already had a clear and unwavering conviction about his international future.
